Care tactics: serving diverse needs in general practice

Brownlow Health is an inner-city GP practice in Liverpool with a diverse population of approximately 28,000 patients including a large student group, asylum seekers, the homeless, patients with drug and alcohol problems and sex workers. The practice offers a range of services providing specialised care, including outreach homeless services, outreach student services, plus hepatitis C treatment, weight management, sexual health, alcohol outreach and substance misuse services.
