A poster is a visual communications tool. Creating an effective poster requires planning, art, science and attention to detail. This article gives guidance on how to put together an attractive and meaningful poster for demonstrating scientific research or clinical audit. We hope it will guide and encourage some of you to submit an abstract to NHIVNA for conference in 2016!
The layout of a poster is critical in terms of efficacy in conveying your project and its findings. It is important to plan well ahead of time. Try to get a feel for the style of abstracts and posters displayed at previous conferences. Consider your budget and identify support in respect of production.
