The present study aim was to assess the Efficacy of flax seed porridge proliferation on Blood Pressure and LDL among clients with hypertension at Mappedu, Thiruvallur District. A quantitative research approach and Quasi-experimental research design was illuminated for the present study. 60 hypertension clients selected by non-probability purposive sampling technique. The patients were divided into two groups, 30 clients in the placebo group without any supplementation and 30 patients in the interventional group. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the demographic variables and observation schedule to assess the Blood pressure and Low-density lipoprotein among hypertensive clients. The intervention of 30 gms of flaxseed porridge administrated orally once a day for 1months for the study group. The result from the pre assessment (m=165.9, SD=19.01) and post assessment (m=149.2, SD=14.00) the flax seed porridge supplementation results in an improvement in reduction of LDL values, t (4.5147) p=0.007. This clearly indicates that a significant improvement in post-test hypertension levels was observed in the interventional group, clearly demonstrating that flaxseed has been shown to be effective in lowering hypertension and LDL levels.
